Your driveway will be checked and adjusted as needed and then power rolled.

Two inches (2") of hot asphalt will be installed by power rolling and compacting it to a one and one-half onches(1 1/2"). This is the standard driveway thickness.

For additional thickness of asphalt, you will need to ask your representative for pricing.

You will need to keep cards of the driveway for five (5) days, seven (7) days during the months of July and August. You may walk on your driveway 3 hours after the rolling process is completed.

Some tips for all new driveways during hot weather:

• Avoid quick turns as this will cause tire marks.
• Avoid sharp objects (ie. high heel shoes, kick stands, ladders, car jacks, etc.) as these items will cause holes in your new pavement.

Asphalt is a mixed material consisting of sand, asphalt cement and stones. It is not a perfectly smooth material and has a stony appearance. Asphalt varies in texture in different areas; this look is only cosmetic and does not effect the integrity of the driveway. Pioneer uses only NYSDOT approved asphalt. This insures a strong and durable surface for many years to come.
